Step 1 -  Get Pre Approved

 

It is important to know what your budget is to start your home search. A pre approval will tell us our MAXIMUM purchase price. 

 

BONUS TIP:  Pre approval allows us to place unconditional offers on homes so the sellers can accept our offer immideatly.

 

Step 2 -  Initial Meeting or Consultation

 

You don't want to skip this step! The Real Estate Market is constantly changing and having the right strategy is critical espessialy in our Calgary Market. It is important to know where you stand and have an action plan to move forward with confidence.

 

Step 3 - House Shopping (Fun Part)

 

This is where you get excited and start viewing properties to really get an idea of what you want in a home based on your budget and criteria from step 1 & 2.

 

Step 4 - Writing an Offer

 

Now that youve found a home that suits all your needs its time to write an offer!

 

Step 5 - Closing

 

Typically possession days are about 30-60 days but they can be much quicker also. At this point we should have lawyers working on handling the transaction meanwhile we prepare for our possession day by preparing the following:

 

- Home Insurance

- Down payment 

- Mailling address

- Utilities

 

Step 6 - Possession Day!

 

We get the keys from the previous owners and the home is officially yours. CONGRATULATIONS You're a homeowner!
